Cacao carries an ancestral lineage rooted in Mesoamerican cultures, where it has long been held as a plant of relationship, reciprocity, and communal belonging. Traditionally worked with in ceremonial and social contexts, cacao is not a substance of escape but one of presence used to mark gatherings, transitions, and shared intention. Its medicine is relational, inviting the heart into coherence with the body, the land, and the collective. As an ancestral ally, cacao supports remembrance of interdependence.
